US 50 - Ocean Gateway
MD 90 Interchange to Salisbury, MD

US 50 continues its westerly journey on an expressway grade alignment toward Salisbury.  This section of US 50 was constructed in the mid '60s, and bypasses several towns that are now served by MD 346.  MD 346 is the present designation for US 50's (and former US 213's) former alignment from Salisbury to Berlin.

Interchange with MD 90.  Only westbound traffic coming off of MD 90 has access to westbound US 50.

Following westbound US 50 toward Salisbury.  US 50 maintains the expressway grade with a wide median and very few at-grade intersections.

Intersection with MD 610 (Whaleyville Road).  MD 610 is another "cut-off" road between US 113 and US 50.

Crossing over the Pocomoke River, and into Wicomico County.

Intersection with MD 354 (Powellville Road).

LGS promoting upcoming intersection with White Richardson Road.

Intersection with Friendship Road.  Also one of the few times you can see both sides of US 50.

Intersection with Sixty Foot Road.  Notice the raised rumble strips in the first pic.

Continuing westbound toward Salisbury.  Notice the service road that serves the driveways along the corridor.  Driveways have no direct connection with the highway on this portion of US 50.

Intersection with Forest Grove Road.

Continuing westbound toward Salisbury.

Intersection with Walston Switch Road.

Interchange with Business US 50.  US 50 continues it route around Salisbury.  Traffic must exit to the left, or remain on the thru-lanes to go to Business US 50.
